take it this was around the time we played Sheffield United in the Carling Cup? He looked quality back then, mind you Michael Brown was a goalscoring machine that season, what was all that about?

 

He did, not sure if he was worthy of the white boots he used to sport though. Maybe that's where it all went wrong?

I grew up with Michael, his parents still live on my street. Still speak to him occassionally when hes home, really genuine nice bloke, think its a shame that it never happened for him in the premier league. He's not one of these players whose happy to just pick up his wages and go home, he wants to play, hopefully this loan move will put him in the shop window for summer.
