Conlon lost the rag on Irish television saying all Russians "were cheating bastards and everyone knows they are" and that it was a "fucking disgrace."

 

Gutted for the lad, but it made for golden television.

I said yesterday the decision in favour of the Russian in the heavyweight stank as well.  There are loads of historical accounts of Olympic boxing judges getting paid off and Russia is pretty much a mafia state these days, corruption is so endemic people would be caling it a failed nation if it was in Africa.
