Very much looking like five into three for the remaining CL spots. We are definitely in that fight and need to beat Chelsea and see them stumble again before we can start to think about the title again, the way they are going.

My suspicion is that we will drop out of top four in next few weeks, have a load of people bottle it given all the previous, but then we'll come on strong again and finish top four.

Not sure if it's a bit of over dramatisation by The Mirror, but they're saying that Ryan Mason is in hossie "fighting for his life" due to a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain sustained in the clash of heads with Cahill.

Goodness that's not good news if correct.

I agree with that. I have a feeling we will go on a nice run in the next few weeks. Arsenal,United and City are no great shakes at all. Our lads bottle from the title talk. There won't be any of that now unfortunately and they will begin to show some of their early season form.

Nice to see Senegal resting Mane for their last group game. He's not even in the squad according to Livescore, hopefully completely rested and not missing due to an injury. Not read anything to suggest an injury.

Some bloke has come forward and said that Bobby Charlton's last game for United was in the Anglo-Italian Cup against Verona.

A 4-1 win and Charlton scored twice. Technically a competitive fixture? If so, that puts him on 251 goals.

Imagine if we've had the sickening weekend love in for fuck all....

Chortle!

Sky, BT Sort et all will be hoping it's true as they get to have another wankathon.

I see the Ivory Coast are out of the ACON, that means that Bailly is back early for those Manc cunts, the bastards even get lucky because of African football.
