it wouldn't be a surprise if he was.  The sad thing is, his options will be limited as his pace has gone.

I don't know how much whores should cost but if Sturridge is cheap, this is a good reason why I have not paid a whore.

I quite like the look of that Lanzini at West Ham. If they want Sturridge I'd try to get him.

 

Obviously beggars can't be choosers, and it remains to be seen who comes in for Sturridge and how much we get. It could range from a loan deal to £20M+, such is the crazy world of football finances.

 

And I've a sneaking suspicion that another possibility for Sturridge might be early retirement. I've never really got the sense that he really likes the game, and if he has enough money and is sick of being injured and questioned all the time, he might spew it. Perhaps not though, as if someone else will give him £5M+ a year for another 2-3 years he will probably keep going.
