One of the main things that Kenny has implemented at the club since his arrival is 'if your not good enough then ship them out' mentality, Which we have needed for a long time!

 

Babel has gone and rightly so, can't remember the last time he changed a game in a positive way.

 

konchesky has gone and never even rewarded a move to Liverpool in the first place.

 

kenny tried to move Jova on but as he's under contract and on reportedly on 110,000 a week he stayed to line his pockets on the bench.

 

Poulson and Spearing next for me.

 

Then build in the summer with quality players. The future is looking great for us reds and I'm seriously optimistic.

If Agger has another long layoff before the end of the season I'd get rid too, for the same reasons as Aurelio. Getting rid of the rest would wipe the slate clean and leave a squad of first players I'd be very happy with

Agree with all this, but i'd be hessitant to keep hold of Maxi and Kuyt for a little while longer.

 

I had a chance at seeing N'zogbia tonight, and think he'll do brilliantly for us, worth a cheeky bid?

 

We need 2 wingers minimum i'd say, could we get Hazard? Or are we better off looking at A Young, Turan and perhaps N'zogbia?

 

We need a new CB, LB, LW and RW and a CM.

 

CM= Adam?

LW=Turan?

RW=Young?- English, clearly got the potential, too old for long term in the summer?

LB= Anyone decent to be fair!

He was utterly fucking abysmal in his last season: shit, fat, slow and easily beaten.

If we are seriously going to revamp our squad, unfortunately quite a few favourites will leave too, or be prepared to sit on the bench more.

 

Players like Gerrard and Carra, who are on high wages but arguably not as key or can be replaced with younger.

 

I think Agger and Skrtel have done better with Kenny here, and we are keeping clean sheets now with them. Carra and Soto are getting on, so either we bring in more established 20-25 year old CBs, or we give Wilson, Ayala etc a shot if they are good enough

 

Even Gerrard is not as essential now. Meireles IMO plays better when Gerrard isn't playing, and TBH his legs look gone now. I wouldn't reject a 30+ mil bid from Madrid if the special one wants him. Juve apparently won't pay for Aquilani, so a axis of Meireles, Aquilani and Lucas looks like a fine pass and move attacking trio in the middle, or we could also go out for another fine passer like Adam.

 

For that money generated from a Gerrard sale we could buy 3 or 4 from the up and coming young talents in world football ie Turan, Mata, Marin, Hazard, Adam Johnson etc to play on the wings replacing Kuyt, Maxi and Cole. That leaves our midfield and attacking force with an average age of 22-24. All potentially world class too.

 

Again, I wouldn't mind keeping Gerrard, Carra etc to ease the new players in, but they are on the highest wages in the club, and they are expected to perform week in and week out, which I doubt they are able to anymore.

He really wasn't. The only thing I remember him for is grabbing onto players shirts as they were pulling away from him. He might be better as time passes, but he wasn't looking good before he went.

 

As for Darby, I thought he looked good. Would prefer him to go on loan if anything, then come back. Looks like he needs to put some muscle on though.
