I would not disgard the chances of him staying.

Something you've heard or just your opinion.

To be honest if he stays,I'll be glad we've got a player of his quality in the team but I'll be constantly thinking he's here because we wouldn't sell as opposed to him realising he was making a mistake in leaving.

I won't have the same respect for him I once did

I think keeping a sensible distance is par for the course now for most football fans, it's just a sign of the times. Now and again a player comes along like a Fowler or a Carragher who you can tell are genuine in their love of the club, but on the whole it's a business arrangement. You cheer them when they score, but they're largely not deserving of any more than that.

Yeah, it'd be like taking back a wife who's admitted to cheating. You'd be glad to have her back but it'd never quite be the same. You'd never trust her in same way again.

It only seems a matter of time now. He doesn't want to be here and his own teammates are going out with daggers like in that interview!

I understand we should do whats best for us and not him, but i just cant see under what terms, him staying is for the best. His team mates are publicly saying "we dont like him" and he has shit on the club, fans and left his reputation in tatters, how is him staying a good idea?

Even if, in the worst case scenario he goes and we dont get a replacement, as it stands, i still feel this could be better than him being here, the atmosphere towards him will stink from fans and players alike, and if you thought he was moody before, imagine him now!

Kenny is working hard at fixing the atmosphere inside anfield and Torres will be dragging it right back down again with a face like thunder.

Just the way i see it, but i think he needs to go. And i never EVER thought id hear myself say that.

Definitely,I think that's another really sad thing about modern football, the bond between supporters and players is becoming less and less each year,in Kennys book he talks about how the modern Liverpool players are missing out on a valuable experience of mingling with the supporters like he enjoyed as a player particularly on away games in europe.

Right now,Reina is the dogs bollox in my eyes and I believe he'll never leave but through no fault of his own I know find myself doubting him because of this Torres fiasco.
