Who don't you hate when conventional wisdom among reds is that you should?

 

For me it's Beckham. Modelesque ponce, all Brylcreem and huge investor in the cult of his own celebrity as well as being Mister Man Utd to so many for so long. Being England captain not enough to rescue him for some on here.

 

But I like the lad.

Interesting one. Has your opinion changed over the years? I suppose I really mean since he stopped diving.

 

He's toned down his general cuntishness on the pitch and that's helped. But what I respect is the vast amounts of his wealth he donates to underdeveloped parts of the Ivory Coast. He's generously donated to help build streets, schools and hospitals. He is almost a God to those people.

Did not know about all that. Kudos to him then. Essien also does wonders for those back home, I should also point out in a thread about not being a cunt.

Ditto. I also don't hate any of the Everton players other than Tim Cahill and their manager the gollum faced tit.
