    So how will you deal with it if they are? Personally I would rather my kids weren't gay as it's bloody tough having to live with being told you're disgusting, or going to hell or what not. Also, it must be (relatively) quite difficult to find a long term partner as numbers are much lower than trying to find a straighght partner. However, if they are then they are and I will love them no more or less than before, I will just worry about the prejudice they will have to face.

    No, he said it wasn't worth a new stadium for 15000 extra seats without naming rights to make up the shortfall. He wasn't trying to suggest a bigger stadium, just that a new stadium couldn't work without naming rights.

    I think that if there were not an existing stadium there, this would be a most compelling argument. As the stadium is already there, they may suggest that it would not bring any incremental revenue into the area. I've seen it argued that retail would not be suitable in the area as part of the new stadium, maybe a retail centre would actually drive a change in the area and it's fortunes?

    I do think we are being overly optimistic with the number of houses that would need clearing to be honest. If the main stand and annie road are to be increased in size so much, I would be very surprised if those were the only houses that needed moving. The main stand would damn near need to double in size and would go back much further. It's difficult because the neighbourhood has been messed around so much over the years by the parry bowl plan and the hks plans never coming to fruition that I can see why patience has run out.

    In fairness, if NESV had only bought half the debt, the club may still have been debt free. RBS may have eventually decided to cut their loses and write the debt off for about half it's value. Let's also remember that RBS DID write off the £60m in fees and penalties that H&G ran up, so NESV paid a lot less than £300m for the club in the end (I think anyway).

    Voted to sell, but I think we should lock him in a room with Kenny for a few hours first. I really can understand him wanting to leave, broken promise after broken promise from the club, he came from his beloved home club to win things and we are miles and miles from doing that. He left his club, so why wouldn't he leave ours. To do this three days before the end of the transfer window is poor,very poor and this could have been done in may with much les fuss. Feel sorry for FSG they really can't win this one and are damned if they do or don't sell him.
