yep i thought the same Gerrard was anonymous in the first half along with pretty much everyone in a tepid performance but at least Capello had the sense to change it a bit 2nd half much better.

Not a great performance but a decent result. Johnson's goal was a thing of beauty. Hope that lennon gets the nod ahead of Walcott. Can't see Gerrard playing in the centre of midfield once fatty Lumplard is back and he's effing wasted on the left.

 

Nice to see all the anti English posts, hope we win the fucking tournament to make you feel sick for a few weeks. We'll probably get dumped out in the quarter finals though and give you your usual big tournament high. ;)

England were atrocious, and will be mercilessly fisted by the first decent team they face in the World Cup. Outplayed, at home, against Mexico, for large parts of the game.

 

I'd almost forgotten how utterly rubbish Walcott is. I wouldn't even swap Babel for him.
