If we can replace him, then we should consider.

Its been mentioned that we are monitoring the situation for Brede Hangeland at Fulham.

He could act as the replacement for both Agger, as he is good with the ball at his feet, having played in CM for some years, and Hyypia as he is very good in the air as well.

You don't know the rules, do you?

He's Norwegian. Therefore Code72 puts aside his usual faultless analysis of strengths/weakness/stats and just proclaims him the 2nd coming.

See also Carew, Riise, Whathisname at Chelsea, and every other talentless plodder from Norway.

Fuck this, talking about a replacement for Agger is daft, he has the makings of one of the best and has only just got back to around full fitness. If he goes I'd put money on it that we live to regret it.

You only have to look at the fucking brilliant run and pass he did to set up that goal, after he'd made that mistake when he just got back to realise what we'd be missing out on. He can defend and attack, but attack with a lot of skill, and I'd seriously loathe to see the guy leave. I'd be gutted. It'd leave a big question mark in our defence when we should really be making his new contract a big priority.

Fuck you Galliani!

Didn't Milan pay £8 for Phillipe Senderos? Agger is surely worth double that!!!

It is worrying though that all the stories are about our players leaving - sign of our financial circumstances, as agents across Europe seem to be aware that the club may have to be selling. Agger's agent is clearly angling for a move for his man.

Have they actually bought Senderos?

I thought it was a loan.

The Serious worry about Aggers situation along with Dirk and Arbeloa is it seems that the Yanks Parry and Ayre are willing to let 3 players that would cost over £30m to replace run there contracts down so we only get a fraction of there value(eg Owen Crouch), the fact that this is been allowed to happen is worrying as it seems that were either not in a position to offer a new contract or the yanks just dont give a fuck as it wont be there problem in 18 months, moores you are some cunt by the way.

And now, Milan confirm Agger interest is absolute bollocks, according to this:

Premier League - Milan deny Agger statement

Eurosport - Wed, 10 Dec 18:17:00 2008

Adriano Galliani has denied saying that Milan are keeping tabs on Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.

"With regard to the alleged phrases Adriano Galliani issued to the press in Denmark, and reported by several Italian outlets, the Rossoneri's CEO denies that he has ever issued any statement," Milan said on their website.

Agger has been in good form this season after a difficult start to life at Liverpool, who he joined in 2006.

The 23-year-old has not yet signed a new contract and newspaper reports linked him with a January move to Milan.

"We are going to sign a new defender in January, there's is no doubt about that," Milan vice-president Galliani was originally quoted as saying by Denmark's tipsbladet.dk.

"We have kept a frequent eye on Agger and his situation at Liverpool and have of course noticed the problems that Agger and Liverpool have on agreeing on a new contract.

"We have a list of three or four names that could be used in the defence. Agger is one of those names.

"We will for sure make a bid for one of them in January."

Milan were rumored to be considering a bid of 7.5 million euros (£6.6m) for Agger.

So, is this the Danish press stirring up yet more shit about Agger? Or is Galliani lying through his teeth? You decide.
