Pretty pissed off here.

August 2021 I got the LG 65 CX and I came home from work yesterday and there’s no power to it.
The socket works, the fuse is ok in the plug and there’s power at the back of the tele.

I phoned LG and spoke to someone today, it had 12 months warranty and there’s nothing they can do but give me the number of a repair company apparently.

Im gonna get it down off the wall tomorrow and open it up, from minimal research on the ‘net it could possibly be the power board, but some forum I found seems to have a lot of these faults cropping up the last few months.

£1700 and it barely lasts a little more than 2 years. What a load of shite.

There’s a whole list of LG TV’s on their website that LG replace the power board free of charge but my model isn’t one. There’s also a whole host of TV’s listed on there that have a 5 year warranty but once again, mine isn’t one.

To put it bluntly I’m less than happy right now.

Take it to your local LG shop and launch it at all the other teles.

Could be worth a try.

Might go one further and piss in a crisp bag and throw it in the local LG shop.

Or you could just accidentally drop the TV while shifting it from the living room to the bedroom and claim on your household contents insurance?
