Somebody else that doesn't have Google or Wiki. What strange internet conditions prevail in the UK these days.

Diego Garcia. Its an atoll in the Indian ocean that has an American base on it.

I had assumed they had him mixed up with Jerry Garcia.

Don't just look at it on the map, mate. Read up on it's history. Diego Garcia is one of the most shameful episodes in recent British political history, and it's a disgrace that successive British governments have never been brought to book for the treatment of the population.

You can probably find Jon Pilger's Ch4 documentary somewhere on line.

Will have a look at that cheers.

So they are now saying it was flown around Indonesian airspace, which presumably means it was done to avoid detection. Why would they then fly it to the middle of the abyss of the Southern Indian Ocean? It makes no sense at all! #diegogarcia

How can anyone not see that that fucker's been in the briny since day fucking one?

Until they find some wreckage,corpses, black boxes.  The theories will continue to flow.  Especially since it looks like whoever was controlling the plane was taking it off course on purpose .

Why does everyone try and be intellectually superior when it comes to conspiracy theories? It's not like governments haven't been conspiring for years. Even if you don't want to believe some of the more radical theories such as 9/11, look really close to home and see how the covered up Hillsborough, Bryn Alyn, Saville, Dunblane etc etc.

Just think about it for a minute. The plane turned off all communication systems as it left Malaysian airspace, it turned dramatically off course and evaded radar systems... then it just flew into the middle of the Indian Ocean and crashed? That would be like winning the Grand National going over the final fence just to get off your horse and start punching yourself in the face! It literally makes no sense!

It's people's denial that governments could behave in this treacherous manner that lets them get away with it. Read that Dirty Wars that Monty is always banging on about and it will open your eyes to how these fuckers behave.

That link above has been killed by the way.

Actually it only does not make sense because we have little data as of yet and some of your "facts" actually have not been established as true yet.

What we have is a tiny amount of data and a huge amount of hot air and bullshit

Which ones?

What hasn't been established is whether someone knows the whereabouts of the plane.

I think we can sum this thread, and the missing plane up quite succinctly;

there are known knowns; there are things that we know that we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know.
