I feel like we're one player away from being real title contenders. I think we have what most of the best teams have which is "The Wrecker", "The Passer", "The Hole" but not "The Goal".

I think you were just calling out the names of your sex aids on the dressing room table there Paco. We need a number 9.5. Suarez isn't going to be the provider too often - he prefers to take a shot on rather than identify a colleague in a better position. Maybe that's due to his confidence in the colleagues in question, but I suspect it's more to do with the fact that he facies himself to score, even when it's unlikely.

We need a player like Van Persie. We should bid for him.

4-1-4-1

Me smells pedanticism for its own sake. To my eye we have played 3 behind a lone striker alot.

Adam and Lucas were side by side more often than not with Henderson in front of them. He might not have done very much with the space but I think it will become even more obvious when Gerrard fills that role.

Bellamy, Gerrard and Downing behind Suarez looks the bit.

In the summer (as I can't see us attracting these types of players in January), we have to get the match winners to help Suarez.

Kuyt, Downing and Carroll are not the level we need. Especially when you compare them to who City had today - Aguero, Silva and Nasri. Not that they hurt us much, but they have done to others this season.

Gerrard returning will be a boost for this season, but we can't be reliant on him anymore with his age and fitness concerns.

Hulk and Hazard would be two players I would like to see us go for this summer.

That Lavezzi could be a realistic option. Seen him play a few times over the past couple of years - exciting talent!.Even his stock might of risen though after Napoli's champions league appearance.

Would love us to sign someone of the caliber of Hazard, but it seems less and less realistic once the Spanish and Italian clubs come sniffing.
