Jamie Carragher and Steve Finnan will both start this evening's reserve game against Everton at Southport's Haig Avenue (7pm).

 

Both players are expected to play for at least 45 minutes as they step up their comebacks after recovering from injuries.

 

There are also starting places in the team for French duo Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama Pongolle.
