I support Babel here, i dont agree with going to the press and he has to play better but he never gets a run of games playing right midfield. Kuyt is holding down a position playing football fit for sunday league. Babel would certainly be more effective there, yes he would frustrate at times but every so often we would get some end product. With Kuyt we get frustration and no end product. As long as Rafa is unable to nurture skilfull players we will continue to play rudimentary football that relies on players like Kuyt and Aurelio provided our offensive width.

Good luck with that banner!

And you and I both know you nodded in agreement with every little vindictive word that came out of Whelans mouth!

I'll be supporting Liverpool tonight, unlike you.

that pretty much sums up rafa in a nutshell sadly.i really thought he was going to be the one weve been waiting for and play fluid penetrating passing football like valencia.

"Normally I would pass the ball - now I take the shot myself more often. I see how they look at me with a face that says 'Hey I am free!' "But I'm not going to explain it any further because they don't give me any explanation when I ask for the ball."

Sums up the reason why he should fuck right off really. He's taking onto the pitch his own inability to fit in as a human being at the cost of creating the best opportunities for the team. That and "waaaah wahhhh i want my blue boots waaaaah waaaahhh" really. What an arse.

I see your point about the personal abuse, UEM, but this bloke really is a piece of work.

His attitude stinks and saturday was the final straw for me. he clearly didn't want to stay on, it's not like his foot was broken!! Maybe I'm being harsh but it just looked like he couldn't wait to get off.

It's a shame because I was actually more excited about signing babel than torres, having seen very little of torres but i'd just watched babel in the under 21 european championships.

I maintain that if you are talented and you apply yourself Rafa can make you a great player. Look at Torres, Gerrard, Alonso and Reina.

Babel has wasted a great opportunity and I wouldn't be unhappy if he never played for us again.

I get the impression that the flair players at Valencia were bought by the sporting director - Does rafa like a player like aimar? Luis Garcia is the only flair player that rafa has been able to get a decent return with. Bellamy was wasted! would we have him on the right instead of Kuyt? I would even have Cisse there ahead of Kuyt. We just play crap football, which is dependent on Torres and Gerrard.

i do after the match but not during the 90 minutes, its impossible for any red do so!

hence the word part

take saturday for instance

i was willing us to win from the first whistle to the last, but a few minutes after the match my thoughts were 'oh well,at least its another step to rafa being replaced if fuck all else'

i had the exact same feelings with houllier and i was right

if you think i'm the only red who thinks like that? your need to open your eyes a little bit mate

i also see ignored the chairmen quote

He isn't and has never been good enough for this club.

And whose fault is that exactly?

Even if he isn't good enough he's been treated like shit by a manager who struggles with personal relationships, which only reflects badly on his transfer record. Just look at the strikers he's let go and the situation we're in now with one good striker who is barely ever fit.
