Offers too little for the more advanced CM, doesn't make driving runs, doesn't tackle much, looks slow on the ball at times, plays like a schoolboy amongst men. Needs to offer a lot more in my book!

The problem is Liverpool bought players lacking in technicality, this was suggested when we spent so much money on British players. In truth, it has been a disaster. Carroll doesn't require comment, we all know the truth. Downing is so timid, its unbelievable - run, check back, run check back. Enrique looks a better winger than him. Henderson may become a good player but if you are the advanced CM you have to offer more than neat passes, e.g. goal threat, and he simply doesn't or when he is in positions he lacks composure (he is 21 this may come, but that doesn't help us now). The majority of Adam's goals for Blackpool came from set pieces, well he was supposed to be a specialist, clearly this hasn't been true since he has come to Liverpool, he struggles to consistently maintain a decent level of performance. He is very selfish in offensive positions, often opting to shoot instead of playing in a free man (Fulham and Aston Villa). My biggest problem is that he simply neglects his defensive responsibility, his positional play is woeful and for every great pass this is mitigated by 5 poor ones. These players were never going to provide you goals! i could have told anyone that from the beginning of the season, we lack players with the skill to score, there is too much responsibility on Suarez. We need to buy 3 players in Jan! 1) Diame - would cover the defensive midfield area, i thought he was brilliant and with contract expiring, there is a deal there to be struck. 2)We need an attacking right sided player who can score! Hoilet may be an option in Jan (not the solution long term) 3)We need a goal scorer, no idea who we could get in though

The proof will be in the pudding, yes! But as i said Downing for me will not wake up a 20m quality player and that is based on the last 4-5 seasons i have seen him play. Carroll has done nothing to warrant being the most expensive English player, he will not wake up and become mobile, quick etc. There is always a chance he may prove me wrong but very slim. So "the wait and see" is only said to please the people who cannot form objective views when it comes to Liverpool, it's patently clear for everyone else to see that we wasted stupid money in the market on average players! If it was Spurs doing the same we would be laughing! How about you fucking take of your tinted specs!

One of the best passers?????? are you kidding me! LOL He is average at passing, in fact often makes the wrong decision when passing. You can say Adam is good at passing but Henderson? that's the tinted specs stuff we are all so used to hearing! Uniteds long term plans...... according the tabloids, if United wanted him they would have got him - fact. He was a united fan and Sunderland is managed by Bruce! glad you didn't continue to read on if this is the stuff you respond with!

An England U21 international! He has never stood out, LFC fans can kid themselves if they want, he offers nothing to the team currently and at 16 mill, you would expect something! I will give him to the end of the season but i doubt Carroll will look like a 35m pound striker and Downing has never impressed me so i don't see that changing! we shall see...

I don't know why people are surprised, a lot of us who weren't wearing the tinted specs said as much! Downing has achieved nothing in all his time in the league, if he was any good he wouldn't have been playing at Villa at 27. When you factor in he cost the same as Mata, it is truly alarming! football has moved on past the days where you play with a Tony Dorigo style winger; pace but no skill. Henderson has never been good at anything and no one has ever taken notice of him yet we paid 16m for him to play right mid. For all Adam's passing ability, his game has several flaws, he is slow, lacks stamina, can't tackle and has zero positional awareness! These players were never going to cut it, neither was Carroll 35 million for exactly what? he has achieved nothing in the prem, we bough players to play around him instead of Suarez. We let Raul go and he got us goals from the middle last season. Kenny and his British obsession has not moved us forward at all. Also 442 does not work with Lucas and Adam, both are too slow and sluggish, that is obvious to anyone who watches us! British players lack technique, we all know this! Agger was spot on with his determination of the team, "headless chickens" Kenny has messed up and i don't see how he will be given more money to buy new technical athletic players. Problems from last season were: 1)no pace in the side 2)over reliance on individuals 3)sloppy defending we spent over 100 million and those same issues are still here! I found myself wanting to have Routledge playing on our right side more than Henderson on Sat and he cost 16m! That's how bad it has got. If Suarez doesn't play well - we lose or draw!

Some Facts LFC fan's have to accept: 1)Suarez is not a good finisher, he misses to many chances. 2)The team in general cannot finish (12 goals in 9 games) 3)Downing is limited: has pace but no trick and if you aren't playing Carroll, he supplies assists to who? 4)Adam's offering after 65 mins is limited, lacks fitness. Often plays for the foul when running with the ball, their goal was an example. 5)Bellamy offers more to the team than Downing. 6)Henderson and Carroll are not good enough now and i am not sure they ever will be.

If we get all that money then we need to be looking at better players than Adam, I don't buy how you become a 10 million pound player overnight. He isn't even exactly what we need, too similar to SG and RM. We need a top quality defensive midfielder before we start to worry about players of Adams ilk.

Roy Hodgson will alienate our players completely and the top ones will leave, Nesv need to pull their fingers out, when you lose the fans its always the beginning of the end! Lets not prolong the inevitable, this guy was hired by Purslow who is absolutely clueless and even started getting involved in the footballing side of the club beggars belief! He has no supporters within the hierachy and the fans hate him - Get rid!

only complaint is Kuyt, touch of a rapist, imagine how better we would be with someone like nasri playing there! Hodgson needs to make johnson do some shuttle drills, his acceleration is poor.

This is exactly what he did with Fulham, the only difference was that he prioritised the Europa League and always changed his players for prem matches. He is such a crap manager and sooner we get rid the better. We will get turned over in Napoli, i am sure of it. Nando needs to play more games to get sharp but Hogdson is obsessed with changing players everytime we have midweek games. Just get Lost Woy!

Have never rated Kuyt, too often he breaks down our moves with his lack of pace or inability to trap the ball. Lucas has been shit for 3 years, the joke is over - too slow, too weak, constant fouls etc Jovo just gave the ball away repeatedly in my opinion Babel/Maxi would have been better options.

Did Kuyt learn to play football with a football or a hot potato, is there are player with less technique at a top level club. Does Lucas get paid 50k a week to make a few tackles and just pass the ball sideways. Does Rafa get a few million a year to continually pick a negative team thay never ever looks like scoring away from home. 0 CORNERS AND 0 SHOTS ON TARGET - that will take some beating. Why does Aqualani even bother turning up to training, subbed against Fulham with Babel when they were our best players. Is there a team that play as awful football as liverpool in the league, i would honestly rather watch Pompey at least they play with some pace and adventure. MORAL OF STORY - FUCK OF TO JUVE RAFA!

Why the fuck were Babel and Aqua taken off, our two best outlets, Gerrard was lethargic and Maxi, apart from the standard chance he spurned offered nothing. NGOG shouldn be starting, just like Insua shouldn't be near the team as well. Cant wait for the useless fcuker to go, so sick or his irregular management. The guy is so clueless, i bet torres isnt even injured, he prob just thought we would win and that he would rest him for atletico. Let's hope Madrid want him and we dont have to pay him off, let him play his anti-football tactics there.

i would not let rafa blow 60 million pounds anyway, he would buy shite players. NGOG starting for liverpoolfc is a travesty, Gerrard looks like an old man, lack dynamism these days and always gets out fought. Maxi for all his eagerness simply cannot finish, he misses too many chances.

Fuck off Kuyt, Lucas, Insua and Rafa! What deos Kuyt do? someone pls tell me - ineffective again for 80 mins. Insua is just woefully out of his depth. Lucas was by no means terrible today but still shit Rafa is shit because he hasnt changed or learnt after being in this country for 6 yrs - same negative tactics, the persistence use of useless players. Start Babel and play Aqua ffs!

Rafa should have learned from Mourinho's managerial decisions against Chelsea, to combat chelsea's fullbacks he played attacking wingers/forwards with pace. Rafa believes sticking Kuyt and Maxi because they put in a shift is the answer. Lucas needs to be sold, he offers nothing - plays with no tempo and just doesn't aid the team. That being said the whole team performed poorly and Insua was exposed as the weak link again. How this guy can be a first choice let alone a second one beggars belief. Johnson??? has the guy suddenly lost all his pace, he has looked awful ever since he has come back.

Babel subbed - typical bullshit management our most threatening player and Kuyt who has done fucking nothing stays on. Cant wait for the back of this manager, at last Torres had someone with pace to help him make inroads up top - i doubt rafa noticed though.
