They must of because there is far too much "proudness" and "heroes" shit all over the Echo and on the radio. This is why there a small fucking club, everyone is so proud of them after last nights game! Whats going on with the world, we beat the best in Italy and never got this much of a love in!

Small teams always gets loads of press in the local media if they have a decent result against one of the big teams (Fiorentina :whistle:), just ask Havent & Waterlooville.......

Just watched it on itv4 then.

 

Im sorry, but what a pathetic atmosphere for such a game. Maybe the tv didnt do it justice, but all i heard was the famous goodison groan in appeal for every decision, and a shite collection of various folk everton songs being played loud over the PA at every oportunity. No crowd singing, no willing the team on as happens so much on a big night at our place. Another random observation was the everton fans booing the italian woman addressing the fiorentina crowd over the PA. How utterly pathetic.

 

It also dawned on me that they where actually alot further away from the final than they made out. Hadnt realised they wherent even in the quarters. The way they spoke about it, i imagined last night to have been a semi final 2nd leg, not a round of 16game. Name on the cup my arse.

To be fair the other gaffer looked a twat in his puffa too, I just reckon Moyes thought it was the perfect photo opportunity to look like shit coat.

 

To be fair it was, he was the manager of a team knocked out of a european competition by a far superior club. :yes:
