So the Lisbon treaty won't apply to Ukraine?

So effectively Russia can mount any 'Special Military Operation" in Ukraine in future and the EU just stands back and takes an invasion of a member state on the chin? It's the bummiest of bum deals.

It sounds like part of it is Ukraine are looking to enter into a Treaty directly with the US that effectively gives them the same Western (read US) protection they would have under NATO Article 5.

Yep. And what's the backstop to prevent Russia doing another SMO in 18 months time when it has rebuilt its lost military capability?

Even if Russia does pull back, the impact of this war will be felt around the World for years.

Wonder where all the Nazis went?

Russia is no longer requesting Ukraine be “denazified” and is prepared to let Kyiv join the EU if it remains militarily non-aligned as part of ceasefire negotiations, according to four people briefed on the discussions.

You’ve seen the dead bodies, right? Azov is no more. They’ve (the Russian Special Forces) also captured the lead culprit of the Odessa Civilian bonfire, and the perpetrators of the P.O.W. torture.

What, as soon as they'd all flown back to Moscow for a debrief and selfies with Kadyrov's TikTok trpoops?

An Ukrainian MP doesn't see it that way at all, unfortunately.

Ukraine being offered the shitty end of the stick, I'd say.

Got a Ukrainian girl working for me, found out her SISTER  is fighting in makariv. She didnt mention it until today.

Obviously, she has been given as long as she needs off. All these cunts who are apologising for that baldy cunt and blaming the NATO are twats. Heard some horrific stories today.

RP, Pureblood, Gnasher and Red shift, you're on the wrong side of history.

Thats the problem.

Why, does everything have to be binary with picking "sides", stigmatising people with a different view and always polarising things? Can't you enter the debate with a more conciliatory frame of mind, or do you need to be on the "right" side all the time every time.  I've already unconditionally condemned Putin earlier in this thread, just because I don't feel the need to repeat myself daily on this point doesn't make me "pro Putin" or any other reductionist label you have in mind.

What dead bodies?

I’m not posting here. Saw them in passing and can’t be bothered scrolling through the whole of Twitter. The leader - forgotten his name - is in custody. After his capture and while being bundled into a vehicle, some of the locals - even old women - were showing their wrath.

Ukraine lobs a missile into Russia according to this report. Hope to fuck there's no NATO \ US \ Western parts in it and recoverable.

Millerovo air base attack - Wikipedia

Happened on the 25th February, apparently. Some say it was a Tochka 2 missilie attack from UKR. Others say some Russia squaddie tripped and dropped a lit fag onto a pile of shells. Like another on did when that ship sank in Berdyansk.

It's last night in Belgorod. They just don't know what caused it, same as Berdyansk.

From what I’ve been told from someone who is actually in the Ukraine, there is picking sides. People are dying because of Russian missiles

This is the only thing I could find, and this is really an account full of fake news and Russian propaganda. Apparently nobody knows who this guy is, and what was he doing in Kherson. There is another video the search came up with showing some beatien up guys being escorted by some police to some truck and some people are shouting. Nobody even semi-realiable has anything on it, they are just RTs of the initial info with the same description.

I'm not apologising for Putin and this thread is deranged. I'm anti-war so won't be picking a side, have never once agreed that Putin invading was good, think he's a war criminal and have wanted peace talks consistently to end this.

The people in here going on about Putin apologists want the entire thread about Putin and Russia only and none of the other history or events. This also includes fascist and neo-Nazi war crimes. That isn't a good idea.

And no I won't be feeling guilty if this ends peacefully and we see reports of destroyed Ukrainian cities, seeing as I never wanted or supported the war in the first place.

Non stop? An exaggeration. As for the video, I’m not particularly keen on graphic videos of corpses. There’s a fair bit of grizzly video about from both sides. I already knew of Azov’s demise, which was enough to know.

Unfortunately, there’s no confirmation of Wagner group’s end yet, on the Russian side. We can only hope.

De-Nazify the world I say.

What Azov's demise, what are you talking about?
