I reckon Joshua would be gassed if that went on any longer, it was a bit of a hail mary, seen it last time with Klitschko too starts solid, tires around round 5/6 takes a couple of rounds off, recovers a bit then goes for an attack and ends up finishing it, obviously it's worked well for him, but I'm very interested to see what Joshua looks like on the other side of this after his second wind has faded again.

 

anyway I still doubt takam would have had enough to finish him, but aj would have certainly been very vulnerable, and obviously sky/matchroom can't allow that.

 

I might be overly skeptical but even the extra minute or so the ref had takam seeing the doc was for Joshua's benefit, either hoping the doc stops it or to give Joshua a bit longer to catch his breath.

Yeah, the same Wilder that got rocked by Eric Molina. All heavyweights get rocked. Joshua got rocked by Whyte and was scrambling on the floor against Wlad.  I say he's Frank Bruno on steroids, not really as an insult, more that he looks like Frank Bruno on steroids when he fights. It's an accurate description. He's not as one dimensional as Frank, but he is cumbersome and static.

 

I think Wilder beats him. Obviously Wilder doesn't have the better resume but what resume did Sor Rungvisai have when he beat Gonzalez? Some fighters are just tailor-made for others.
