But he wasn't brought in to do that role.  What is clear is that Henderson and Gerrard are not good enough to operate as a two.  They are both playing to their weaknesses.  

 

Markovic is seeing a bit more of the ball than Lallana, but Markovic isn't that good.  Coutinho peripheral.  I'd drop him for a couple of weeks.
