Doni can play in the semi

Jones is the worst keeper in the top flight, he is possibly the worst in the top two divisons, I'd rather have Paul Konchesky at left back than Jones in goal.

I dont know if Code can provide us with a games to goals conceeded ratio but theres no way we will get through that semi final with him in goal. Raimond Van Der Gauw was a lot better than this guy and wore pants as back up keepers worth their saltlick should.

In short we must not play this man in goal and do anything possible to prevent this occuring, Doni putting in an appeal is easier than building a time machine from scratch so its got my vote.

For once the FA pantomime rules could have worked in our favour. We just need to know if we appealed, surely someone at the club will have got on to this, I mean it isn't rocket science.

I wonder if the club is worried that if we appeal the charge against Doni (clearly trying to play the rules) that all of a sudden there’d be a charge against Skrtel?

So we appeal that too and he plays. It really isn't a trick, it's their own system. Many other teams employ it and nobody worries. But I get your point, it's the FA and they're corrupt, bent twats.

Because a failed appeal of a straight red adds one game to the ban. Derry just got his increased to 4 games even though young was offside and dove. Fucking disgrace the FA are.

But if we appeal the ban is delayed, Doni plays the semi so we have him and Brad. If they dont overturn the red he gets an extra game ban but we have Pepe back, so we have 2 keepers again Pepe and Brad.

Anyways, I thought they had to do it by 1pm, its 25 past 2 now.

How many games have these keepers played in the last year? It's of no surprise for them to come on and look a complete shambles at times. It's an impossible situation for them.

That said, I'd rather Doni were available because he can draw upon some big game experience, but the chances of it happening seem very unlikely.

So nobody thinks that the F.A would hold a meeting about such an appeal on Friday and fuck it off? They hardly wasted any time in the Derry hearing from QPR and fucked him off to the disbelief of everyone apart from the bent cunts at the F.A.

The appeals process was massively streamlined/cut short years ago. In the old days a ban wouldn't start for 14 days, but they now start instantly and unless it's for violent conduct then a red card is just an instant 1 match ban.

Shaun Derry's appeal was heard straight away as was an appeal for Blackburn's Modeste. And Derry's ban remains at 1 game - it wasn't increased for a failed appeal. Bans are only extended if the appeal is considered frivolous i.e appealing against blatant violent conduct.

If we had appealed Doni's suspension they would have heard it either tomorrow or Friday and upheld it anyway.

This, I said this in the match thread when people were saying we couldn't appeal. We can but the bans are dealt with before the next game. There is no delaying tactic to play.

From wikipedia - doesn't bode well. At the end of March, Jones joined Derby County on loan for the remainder of the 2010–11 season.[7] Jones made his début in a 4–1 loss to Cardiff City and went on to concede 16 goals in his seven games at Derby, including another four against Burnley (2–4) and three against Norwich City (2–3). He came in for criticism from Derby manager Nigel Clough after his mistake let Bristol City take an early lead in Derby's final home game of the season, in a match the club eventually lost 2–0. It turned out to be Jones' last Derby game
