Excellent read (that somehow slipped under the radar)

There seems to be more evidence of Agger's mistreatment here than there seems to be evidence of Aquilani's miraculous recovery.

Actually, I seem to have lost the will to live.

Yeah we really played him a lot last season when he was injured didnt we. Yet we gave him a new 70k a week contract as well. wish i was as mistreated.

the danish fas medical team can go screw themselves. and if you dont like the debate why start the thread.

It has nothing to do with last season. The doctor points out that you try and let that particular injury rest and if that doesn't help, you then do the surgery. That should then be followed by muscular training to build the muscles around the spine, which is what he is alluding to isn't being done.

Which is what we did. But, you know, it's easy for the Danish doctor to start dicatating to us about player recovery when they only play a few times a year and don't have a defensive injury crisis. So, respectfully, fuck the Danish medical team's opinions.

No surprise that a few perma miserable twats try and use it against the club mind.

Did i miss something then about his back injury only being from this season. silly me must have done. and there was i thinking agger had rested most of last season.

i fully believe our injuries are down to the fact that rafa doesn't rotate anymore.

and if anything i think it will be worse later on in the season after players have 40 games behind them.

not enough strength in depth in the squad. the only injury that i think is unrelated is riera's as he came back from the intl break injured

I don't see how we can be to blame for the injuries. We've trained the same way for years haven't we? Or does anyone know of a change along the way?

Even a slight change in training routine can make a big difference though. Someone mentioned, not sure if it was this thread or not, that the warm up is different now compared to when Pako was here and is not as intensive. That may or may not have anything to do with these injuries, but if training has changed prior to the match, then there's a good chance that it may be different day to day.

When Souness came to the club, we started suffering a lot muscle strains and I'm sure that was attributed to a change in footwear, although my memory may be playing tricks on me.

Guest Ulysses Everett McGill

Only a few weeks ago we where lead to believe that Kyriakos was going to be out for months by the Greek medical team

These things tend to happen

I remember a Portuguese specialist stating that there was a 90% that Momo would be left permenantly blind after the indicent in Benfica a few years back
