Liverpool have beaten Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea to the signature of Brazil Under-17 superstar Zezinho, according to reports in South America.

The two footed attacking midfielder can play anywhere down the left side, and was one of the stars of the Under-17 Championships that Brazil won.

Zezinho is currently plying his trade in Brazil’s second division with Juventude, but he has been monitored by some of the biggest club’s in Europe, including Barcelona and Real Madrid in addition to the Premier League’s ‘Top Four’.

According to the Brazilian media, Liverpool have already agreed a deal with Juventude to bring him to Europe, which would be a major coup for Rafa Benitez.

Although the vast majority of publications appear to suggest a deal is already in place, Juventude’s club president Sergio Florian, has refuted claims that his star asset has agreed to leave.

Florian told Futebol Interior: “The money is already in our account? I'm not aware of anything,”

“In particular, there is nothing, any kind of negotiation.”

He added: “I cannot speak anything more than that because, as far as I’m concerned, they were just scouting the player.”

Until he is holding a shirt, touching 'This Is Anfield' and the honourary YouTube vid has been posted, I refuse to believe.

If the the money is in their account and Juventude don't know anything about it, then I would imagine Parry has put it in by accident, one last fuck up before he leaves?

Second goal is scored by the lad we are linked with.

Decent goal. A bit one footed though and he plays with number 16?!?!?!

If he was that good, he'd surely be in the number 10 jersey. I recommend we steer clear of this expensive obvious failure.
