maybe if Kuyt can add some skill & goals to his non stop running he would be a half decent player

 

while i like him as a person i can't help thinking that there are better players out there in his position who improve our team no end

 

so really Rafa looking at another attempt to bring in a proper wide left and striker and barry in the summer then (like last summer)

 

guess it wouldn't be too bad if Silva and Aguero were the players in question

Kuyt has been excellent lately. I was a huge critic of his for the most part of this season but can't fault his play in recent months.

Interesting concept of team selections, I guess this means Alonso who is our hardest worker and the one who covers most ground in almost every match deffo will be staying then.

I was never a big fan of Kuyt but I think he has improved greatly over the last season. He still has his workrate but has added some important goals and assists. He is not an easy player to play against.

 

It may have taken him time to adjust to a much better league.

That's just not right though, is it? Big difference in a right sided midfielder and a player who plays on the right side of a front three.

Ive got no problem with him singling kuyt out for praise because he has done well recently but only as long as he does it for other players aswell when they deserve it, and in my opinion he doesnt

The issue is favouritism. Constant, over-the-top praise for one player, from a manager who is renowned for not giving due credit to individual players.
