Lawro ponders his next revelation:

Actually, it's not THAT unusual for a contract to go back and forth a few times. Your agent will ask for certain issues to be covered, so a draft will be sent, the wording will be considered, various potential ambiguities and confusions will be spotted, further clarifications will be requested, another draft will arrive, and so on and so forth. And that's just if one side is asking for changes - if both do then it goes on and on and on. The longer the term of contract the more you'll sit back and think about every aspect and want it absolutely right and watertight. So the only really unusual thing about this particular case is that the 'too-ing and fro-ing' is being publicised.

exactly.

And given Rafa's well publicised annoyance over the role of the chief executive in transfer activities, a detailed point by point analysis of any new versions of the contract are going to take time.

Interesting, as you say, to discover where the media get their leak/s from.

I am going take a punt here, but I reckon you were the thickest kid at school.

Am I right?

Momo and One Dude Abides are like that school misfit double act.

One is a greasy, chiselling little sneak who sniffs girls chairs and will end up in jail for being a nonce.

The other is his hulking bodyguard with the IQ of a chair who likes fighting.

So you were buillied at school? Now we know where your perma angst and superiority complex comes from. Did they tease you in the showers? Oh the shame.

If you wasn't so transparent, your bitchy personal abuse of others would disguise your own obvious personality disorder issues.

You filthy little mongrel.

Ps. How's fatty?

Dear Lord

Momo lecturing people on "obvious personality disorder issues"

This, kids, is what we know as irony, but on a planet-killing scale.

This rumour was bollocks then.

Unless there was a last-minute change of heart and he really was going to go. Or the details were wrong and he would only have gone if we'd lost. Or if he's just waiting until he's back in England so he can grab a decent supply of stationery before he quits.

So really, it was bollocks.

And Lawro hasn't got the credibility amongst supporters to get such a wide-scale belief going in a rumour.

So why did it get such credibility?

Who added Kenny Dalglish into it? That's abuse of a legend, a line that shouldn't have been crossed.

It seems like somebody orchestrated this, and I can't see it being anyone who isn't a Red or involved with the club some other way.

I'd love to know who did it. And to hear - if they are a Red in some way - why.

i'd give you a number to ring, but i suspect it'd be switched off........
