It's absolutely chucking it down in Warrington, can't imagine it helping the players in the sightest.

Looking forward to the game and hoping a few of the players turn up tonight and show what they're capable of!

Just wonder if Bruna and Pacheo may be a touch lightweight for this - certainly a good game to cut their teeth in.

Also interested to see what Duran can offer.

Duran looking good. Looks to have a great right foot.

Agreed.

He has looks very good on the ball. Pacheco and Bruna needs to learn to be more direct though. They are too often trying to do too much. Huth cant possibly be Paraguayan? He looks and play like a typical british 70`s centre Half! He should grow a perm and a moustache.

Duran has been the best player so far the first half.

Bruna and Pacheco need to learn when to have a quick shot and when to release the ball. Both are young and this obviously will come with experience.

Ref is determined to ruin the game though as whilst some challenges have been hard its a mersyside derby and its bad conditions.

The better side, but neither team is playing particularly well.

Duran has been our best player so far - some good touches and looks to have an eye for a pass.

Started the 2nd half a bit better trying to raise the tempo - Plessis and Spearing are controlling the midfield fairly well.

Considering his age, should not Duran get a couple of first team apparences during this season if he has a future here?

I know he has struggled a lot with injuries so its more a question than a statement to be fair.

I have never seen him play so I really cant tell, but it would be interesting to get some views on this.

1-0. Good goal actually.

Great running from Spearing from within his own half when he found Bruna with a short pass. Bruna then held it up well and let Spearing run past him before playing a perfectly weighted through ball which allowed Spearing to get a shot on goal - he should have scored with his left but hit it poorly. Keeper spills it and Brouwer tapped in from two yards.
