Inspired by Stouffer's thread here is a list of the cars I have owned, in order of ownership, the Swedish ones are given by years as I lose track of what they would be in English letters:

Renault 5 GTL, B reg, Burgundy

Volvo 360 GLS, B Reg, Metallic Green

Ford Sierra, 1.8l, D reg, White (worst car i have ever had)

Austin Montego 2.0, G reg, White

Volvo 740 Estate, E reg, Dark Metallic Bluey Green

VW Golf Estate, 1996, White

Renault Espace, 1992, Red

Volvo V40 T4, 1999, Red

Three white cars and I hate white cars.

C Reg Nissan Micra with a Robbie Fowler sticker in the back. 3rd generation hand-me down from dad to sister to me.

T Reg Seat Ibiza - nice car but wouldbnt start when it rained.

Newest car is another hand-me-down. My sister bought an mx-5 when she was based in germany. Ive had that for a few years now. Ace car, ive had to change 4 tyres on it and thats about it.

Numbers 80, 81 and 82.

I think we should add the price seeing as mine are

1989: Ford Escort Mark 2 £399

2003: Citreon Salsa £399

Both blue. Thats my car knowledge complete.

That is all. My Ford ran for 4 years before being stolen (twice). My Citreon runs like a dream - even when it hasnt any oil in it i noticed at the weekend.

Sweet jesus. I dont get spending lots on cars. You've spent nearly 17,000 more than me! Maybe you need it more than me what with you being in the Nordic mountains and me in a city.

That was just the cost of the cars, not what I had to pay. I traded in, or sold privately on all of them bar the Volvo 740 which became worthless as I brought it over here and the engine fucked up big time. Selling a right hand drive volvo with a fucked up engine is not easy. I got 150 quid for it from a local garage for parts.

You like Saabs then eh prof? My missus wants a 99gl. She loves them.

The 99 was great, but it was falling apart. I want an EMS turbo - the plan is to get a house with a garage and spend a couple of years taking one apart and putting it back together myself. That's a bit down the line though.

Shitty J reg Escort in a sort of maroon/burgundy colour. Cost me - can't remember - too much. I fucking hated that piece of shit from the day I bought it.

Now have a Green V reg Civic, cost £7,500 and a green T reg V40 cost £8,500. Got to love buying cars on your mortgage - simultaneously the most expensive and affordable way to buy.

F reg Volvo 480 ES (I bought it because the lights popped up!) I put a great stereo in it too - it's the kind of thing that matters most at a certain age

P reg Saab 900XS (we had our first kid, needed something a bit bigger)

53 reg Mazda 6 TS (diesel) - better economy and a fairly sporty drive for a family car
