Draft idea. Requires thought. 8 players minimum.

Nah, I was just thinking up that bollocks while washing the car earlier and thought I'd indulge my own bullshit.

Mainly because I quite like the Vespa line.

Ha ha. I only ever come on here on my phone, so it'd take me about 4 fucking hours to type up something decent. Reckon the choices speak for themselves.

Pace, power & pedigree order of the day in this team. 13 European Cup medals across this team -- from the goalkeeper, through the defence & midfield, to the striker. More had Barnes played in Europe at his peak -- and Garrincha at all.

Adding Pirlo to the Rijkaard/Gullit combination improves Milan's impeccable late 80s midfield. A 3 that would boss any midfield they come up against -- with Pirlo pinging balls out to the wingers & Rijkaard shielding a defence where multiple European Cup winnng captain Thompson would calm Lovren. Garrincha & Barnes would terrorise any sides down the flanks, and Drogba at his peak was as great a physical striker as there's been. Riise & McGrain add more pace & brawn bombing on from the fullback positions.

Goals all over the side in this one: set pieces; headers; long range pile drivers from either flank; drives into the box. A team that can beat you any number of ways.
