Russia is part of BRICS.

The U.S. will get owned. Fact. It's only a matter of time.

Am just going to hope that it's the U.S. gov that gets owned and the American people are spared whatever else could happen. Don't even like to think about it to be honest. But yeah, the U.S. government can't continue in this way for much longer.

Have you seen what's happening to growth in the BRICS?

The US won't be getting owned any time soon and that's the FACT

All empires rise and fall, it is inevitable...the same is true of Russia and China

Things is, the only reason these emerging economies are powerful in the first place is because we sold out our own working class and got them to produce all our consumer shite.

China and Brazil aren't some kind of economic geniuses. We simply gave them a gift. So I don't see how they can flourish without the west anyway.

The west is still the only place where people actually have money to spend on the shite they're churning out, in all of these emerging countries there are virtually no middle class, just a few millionaires and loads of people living on a tip. Try building an economy around that.

Thats exactly the way we are headed ourselves. 'The Taiwan of Europe.'

Pretty soon the Indians and Chinese will be giving us orders for making cheap shite as we have such low overheads such as wages and zero hour contracts.

Ironically the most expensive parts are the Utilities such as Water,Gas and Electric used to manufacture the goods.

That's not really true:

Emerging markets growth will also dramatically redistribute the bourgeois around the world. For instance, as our Rapid-Growth Markets Forecast explores, the number of households in Mexico with annual disposable incomes over US$50,000 is expected to reach 7.1 million by 2020, and 9.4 million in Brazil. For both countries this is an increase of over 50%.

The search for flight MH370

The hunt for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 enters a new phase in September, as investigators intensify their search of a refined area of about 60,000 sq km.

This refined search area is located 1,800km (1,100 miles) off the west coast of the Australian city of Perth.

Using specialist equipment to survey the ocean floor, teams searching for wreckage of the plane have been mapping the sea bed.

Until now, knowledge of this part of the ocean floor was limited, but the mapping will allow targeted searches to take place.

The initial report on MH17 suggests that the plane was "penetrated from outside by high-energy objects" and broke up in the air. Suggesting that it wasn't shot down by a ground to air missile.

No suggesting it was brought down by a missile. Most operate on a proximity fuse, exploding when close to the target changing one big missile into millions of missiles. Same principle as a hand grenade.

I wasn't aware of that, just had a quick read about it. I don't think it suggests anything then really, other than what it says. It could still theoretically have been taken down by a fighter jet.

Landed safely.

If you look at the plane, it's a slightly different colour. Now, I can't possibly imagine that's the white blanace in the camera, so I chose to believe it's a government coverup.

How disappointing for you.

But don't worry; I'm sure the Lizard Overlords, Illuminati or whichever other nebulous cabal is in control at the moment will be along shortly to provide you with something suitably juicy into which to sink your conspiratorial incisors.

You must know on some level how daft that post is. I find it ever so slightly doubtful that Spy Bee wanted a plane crash just so that he could have a new subject to talk about. You didn't even need the ridicule in the second sentence either, the first was clearly insulting enough.

Yes, I'm sure Spy Bee didn't really want another plane full of people to go missing in mysterious circumstances, but he certainly does love a good conspiracy - no matter how far-fetched and implausible it would seem.

I thought the 'ridicule' in the second sentence was rather tame; if that's the worst that gets thrown at him in internet forums then he's got off rather lightly. Especially in the 'conspiracy world' where everyone seems to have very thin skins when it comes to having their pet 'theories' and beliefs challenged.

Anyway, I'm sure he'll be on here later today to fling some suitably pithy retort in my way.

I was brought up on charges for attacking RP the other day. I said 'you don't half believe some shit'. I think it bruised his soul.

I think that's bang out of order.
