Sunderland are absolutely atrocious, which makes it even more hilarious that this game actually looks like a contest.

I have never seen a UTD team look so mediocre and my edge of hatred for them is decreasing rapidly, I cannot hate something do weak.

I reckon United are bringing Sunderland down to their level, like when you play your missus at pool and end up being really scrappy when you realise you can win no matter how poorly you play.

Sunderland might turn a blind eye to them dragging one down the pocket after missing in a bit.

The current scoreline would indicate that but in every other respect its not.

Christ even the Sunderland supporters couldn't be arsed turning up .

Anyway stranger things have happened and they might score . More likely the  87 year old Ryan Giggs will out pace their whole defence before rounding the keeper to round off his hatrick

2029

Sunderland 0-0 Man Utd

Former England winger Chris Waddle on BBC Radio 5 live at the Stadium of Light

"Both teams have been excellent on the eye with some of the football that has been played, but football is all about goals and we haven't seen too many opportunities."

From the BBC text commentary.

Now I'm not watching the game, but this doesn't bear much relation to the comments on here...

It bears no relation to any sort of reality. Slow ponderous shite.
