What car do you drive?

Recommended Posts

Surely you get to an age Jim where you can afford (including the insurance) a bloody nice car that is a bit more understated?

Anyone over 25 in one of those things screams blonde highlights, fake tan, steroids and a 14 year old girlfriend.

Either that or it's a hairdresser.

Hahahahahaha, im 30, no blond, and I wish my GF was younger .....

Not 14 like but you know what i mean .

As for profession, no not a hairdresser either .

Your analysis was akin to jealousy tbh :)

I'm glad you can enjoy the car, lots of lads that would aspire to own thecar would never be able to afford it.

However your thinking is completely fucked, you seriously messed up pity with jealousy.

Pink pound sweetie. Pink pound.

And RiS, you're a lezza. I was thinking of you last weekend. Had a couple of days with Martin Brundle and his son Alex at Ascari in Spain. Thought your bratty(ies) might have liked a signed something or other but then I remembered your dishwasher smells of spunk so I thought bollocks. I suspect I was wrong?

Really stuck on what car to get next myself. Had a Navara for work but binned it for a little VW van as it was stupid on the juice. The wife has a 1/2 decent run around for taking the kids to school but we struggle big time when we go off somewhere for a week or on a camping trip.

Thought about a Discovery but think they are a bit showoffy and quite like the Subaru legacy estate. Can't bring myself to buy a Volvo either. Plus they are all a fuck load of cash.

Mate has a top of the range Mondeo estate and that's quite nice and you don't come across as an twat in it.

Any sensible suggestions.

The new Forrester is quite nice too plus is 4x4.

Legacy estates are well underrated, they do a lovely one called - legacy 3.0 r spec b. Quite fancy one myself.

Heard loads of great things about them. Only thing that puts me off is I borrowed a mates brand new Impreza Wrx for a weekend and absolutely hated it. I know they are different but it did not fit well with me at all.

Dammit. I know RiS. Muchos apologyos. I am working on a proper sorting out which should be kicking off in around a month or so, but truly missus, we're bang in the middle of this fuckoff massive ground up renovation/extension/new storey which is taking ALL my time, plus off to the Far East again a week Saturday. I can't breathe right now. Website schwebsite. But it will be done.

Sounds like an absolute nightmare you poor dear. If you are in the area, pop in, we can have scones.

Me and the Mrs have an Astra and (my fave) a Mini cooper S. I love that car. I was a bit worried about getting a mini and im 6ft + too but, the car is amazing! There is loads of room inside as seats go all the way back and have good height setting plus, the road handling and engine in this car are spot on!

Its like driving a bloody fast go-kart! Really fun car.

a Fiat fucking Doblo

fiat_doblo.jpg

i sold my old Mini Cooper S for it (classic version)

it obviously isnt as iconic as the old mini, but carrying tools and rools of floor covering in the mini was never really going to work now was it

but being honest, i love the doblo, it does cracking mileage, about 800km to a thank of diesel, it has an armrest, electric windows, and an ipod control pioneer sound system

you'se are all jealous now arent you??????

Thats class. My older brother brought a beat up ford escort van thing and used it for work for almost a year. His boss thought he needed a psych' evaluation.

Pink pound? Is there some kind of government handout for being a botter? Bloody Tories, always looking after their own!

RiS' dishwasher smells of spunk, because that's what Swedes use instead of dishwasher salt.

Mrs Einch bought the Discovery (although I paid for it as usual) as kind of revenge for me buying the M5 even though my car was almost 2 years old when I bought it. Worst thing is the Disco' does better MPG than mine so I have no moral high ground and it is a brute for space and usability. We got an american style fridge in the fucking thing for gods sake and still had space for the other costco stuff. My younger brother and I took it for a long weekend mountain biking trip and it had no problem with some of the off-road trails we used. Unreal tank of a car.

I would love one. I live sort-of-in-the-countryside and sort of have an excuse to have one. I have no plans to change my car at the moment though.

GurtLush, the other real life friend i have on here other than jeremy has a Punto. It is his second car, but i can tell he loves it.

I loves it.

The other car is a Citroen C-Crosser, handy for driving in the abundance of snow we have up here.

I have 1 of these in my garage, exactly the same as this one, even the wheels.

I haven't driven it for 2 years, but i just can't sell it.
