nope - haven't tried it.

yet (grillled would work as well)

Closet Cooking: Nutella and Banana Sandwich

One of my favorite go to breakfasts, lunches and/or snacks are nutella and banana sandwiches. I almost always have all of the ingredients on hand and if you combine that with how yummy they are and how quick and easy they are to make, I tend to have them fairly often. Nutella goes really well with a lot of fruits, though banana seems to be the one that I keep coming back to. I normally eat them in sandwich fashion with two slices of bread but an open faced sandwich, or toast, also works really well. I sometimes even butter them up and grill them so that they are nice and golden brown on the outside and the nutella is warm and melted on the inside. You could also easily turn it into french toast for something a bit different.

Nutella and Banana Sandwich

(makes 1 sandwich)

Printable Recipe

Ingredients:

1 or 2 slices of bread

1 tablespoon nutella

1 banana (sliced)

Directions:

1. Assemble sandwich.

I bet it's a winner. I often have almond butter and sliced banana on toast so I can really see the nutella thing working here. I'd toast that too.

Utter, utter bollocks. You know that heron you ate Wednesday week? That was a transgender heron, with aids. Ergo a swan.

Foiled.

Made it for some lesbians and they were massive fans, thanks & repped.

I just made a Mature cheddar, apple and avacado sandwich, pretty damn awesome though needed a bit more moisture, though that may have been due to having to use the crust.

Bacon solves most problems.

I had a sarnie in Madrid, it was cheese, ham and something else but it had been wrapped in clingfilm for hours and fuck me it was delicious.

When youre travelling and your skint, little gems like that can just make your whole day

Oh yes.

Down and out in New Orleans, skint as fuck and as pissed as a fiddlers bitch, got myself this catfish po-boy sarnie.

Mama.

I am currently in the process of toasting one (that sounds like a euphemism) and I can already tell it's going to rock my cock. It is made up of things left in the fringe/cupboard- Goat's cheese, pesto, jedi tomatoes, olives, smoked paprika, mustard and pine nuts.

Review to follow.

Notes:

Very tasty however I may as well have only put pesto and goats cheese in there as that was all I could taste. Also, toast jedi tomatoes at your peril, it's like putting frickin' magma in your cakehole. I toasted it for a while in a sandwich press and the pesto soaked through which was pretty cool. Polish chleb (bread) was a good choice for housing these ingredients I feel.

I work in a shop. In said shop about 3 weeks ago, there was a lad who looks like you. I thought to myself "ey there's remmie off tlw, i'll go say hello". It dawned on me not long later 1. I dont use this forum much, so you've no idea who I am, 2. I live in Ireland, you dont, 3. it didn't look that much like you at all.

Sorry about the misunderstadning. maybe next time.
