Rafinha being linked a fair bit

Rafinha's contract runs until 2011 and Schalke have no intention of selling him, but the Brazilian international has indirectly encouraged Rafa Benitez to pursue his interest.

 

"Liverpool is a top destination," said the 22-year-old in response to the reports.

 

"If a move would suit Schalke as well as myself, we can discuss it."

 

Schalke chief Andreas Mueller confirmed his side's stance on the matter by saying: "It is good that our players are being linked with such prestigious clubs, but we don't want to let anyone go."

Yeah Ive seen quite a bit of him, he looks great going forward, and not bad defensively, altho Schalkes defence is hardly great, Id love him to come to Liverpool,hes very similar to Dani Alves

Decent player from what I've seen, which isn't a lot. There's a Chelsea fan on my five a side team at work who knows his footie, who rates him based on their games.

I suppose Eboue blows that theory out of the the water though. £5m for a full back in todays market would be a good bit of business.
