Man I was wasted last night. Came back to Castle Colskull after closing with a couple of mates, stuck "Goodfellas" on, got the beers out of the fridge and had some nibbles before crashing out on the sofa until 4am.

Do I feel good today?

Of course. The cats fed, washing is on the line and I've got a lovely cup of tea.

Bring it on.

The more i read about the likes of united and the Chavs in a two horse race the more I feel we can get very close this season. A new day, a new season, I smell victory!

Thats purely the media - both Fergie and Mourinho have both said that Liverpool will challenge this season.

Taggart never mentions us as a challenger. He conveniently 'forgets' about us to either wind us up or appease his own fans. He always mentions Chelsea, Arsenal and leaves it at that or on occasions skips to mentioning someone like Spurs or Newcastle.

Been shopping, washing on line, badgered Mr Cath into mowing lawn, pork marinading, 2 shirts left to iron, bath on. Couldn't fit hairdressers in cos it was either that or early doors in pub watching the other results. Then home for 5ish and "C'mon RedMen". May even fit a bit of Sellick/Falkirk or Sunlan/Spurs in to get me in the mood.

I fear a damp squib of a draw will be a massive anti-climax but I'd love it, just love it, if we got a thumping good start. Gerrard in the first 10, taking the pressure off to allow The Christ Child to strut his stuff. So long Villa, have a good season like.
