Really enjoyed the game tonight, was a close game, end to end stuff. Our comeback was pretty good aswell.

 

Very pleased with my performance tonight, I bagged 5, 2 of which were quality finishes which I was made up with. Should have got atleast two more had it not have been for John's reflexes in goal. Also set up a few goals aswell.

 

Nobody had a bad game at all. Duncan was very good at the back, Dave was excellent for them, and kept our defence troubled constantly. Cain's a cracking player aswell. If he put as much effort into his uni work as he does his footy, he might be the next Irish Einstein.

 

Don't forget lads, due to the woman being a bit thick, to make sure we DEFINITELY have the booking each week, we need to pay a week in advance, so if everyone could bring double subs next week (£4), it will be sound from then on.

 

The small pitch is booked for next week by the way.

It's easy being on Dave's team. He likes to make runs so it's easier to pick him out with passes. Alex just stands there (which is fair enough, as it gets him goals) which isn't as easy if you're on his team.

Ted's goal was amazing. Absolutely brilliant goal. It was a good game, end to end. I let a lot in but didn't make any mistakes, very weird. Cain took his hat trick brilliantly and Usher's first was as perfectly placed as could be. I wouldn't have saved that given a warning.

 

Good battle of Ted vs. Rene for goal of the night. I hate the fact it was past me, but that was true quality from Rene. Good to see Durmongo turn up, by the way. :whistle:

For the opposition i thought renee had a good game but Usher was untouchable. I normally have a decent game against Dave but i did not get close to him all night. Top example of the striker's art

 

I played well tonight, but the amount of times a shot or pass was blocked by those fucking yellow socks with shinpads under them was ridiculous. It was a good battle that between me and you. You cleared a backheel from me of the line as well you twat, although another shot went in off your shin so that evened itself out.

 

Enjoyed that though Dunc, I'd prefer it if we were team-mates next time though!

 

Also, my goal was Torresesque.

 

More like Gazza in his prime I reckon. Torres ain't that good a dribbler.

 

That was a really good game tonight, I think the only difference between the sides was we didn't have a specialist keeper. Not only did we let more in because of that, but it fucked up our rhythm as we couldn't get a settled formation as we all had to have a turn in goal.

 

Thought everyone played well. Can't wait for next week.
