Nah, cockles straight from the fish monger are bland. I like them in vinegar

What you like are delicious things with sprouts, to paraphrase Dan Kitson. 

 

I love sprouts too, raw, boiled or fried. Generally, I'm a big fan of all brassicas - broccoli, kale, cauliflower. They're easy to grow, well suited to the UK climate and delicious.
