Zombie Experience

Shite-ing meself. Mrs Lurtz bought me a zombie experience for Christmas.

Anyone had a go on this, or know anything about the place? I'm excited but I know I'll shit myself on the day. I'm not allowed to take a machete, which is disappointing.

A period of time being spent in amongst people who are pretending to be zombies? Sounds like a typical afternoon in the local shopping center to me.

I once went into a horror show in a fairground and one of the people came chasing me down with a pretend chain saw with sound effects running through a sound system many years ago. I ran out the nearest door shouting through fear and came out in broad daylight with lots of fairground visitors wondering what I was running from. If it's even remotely similar to that for you I would remember to take a spare set of keks.

I think it won't be scary in the slightest, much like Farmageddon and the like. It's just a bunch of drama students dressed up and they can't touch you. My only concern would be a complete nutcase infiltrating the actors and genuinely stabbing some fuckers up.

Doesn't it mostly just consist of running past people as quickly as possible, while bored agency bods on zero hour contracts, dressed as soldiers, shout instructions and pretend to get eaten every so often ?

Or is it the one like laser tag, where you tool up and go hunting?

I didn't realise it was in Newsham Park hospital. That's not too far from me. Not that I believe in it, but allegedly it is one of the most haunted buildings in Liverpool. Enjoy.

If it's got zombies in it, I suspect the rumours are true.

It's going to be like a Hollywood horror film where Lurtzy and his SWAT team go in to play a game only to get attacked by demons and evil spirits. The bodies will never be found, only their GoPro footage in true Blair Witch style.

Joking aside, it is quite an ominous building. There is a live-in caretaker on site who is full of stories of things that go bump in the night.

I had an operation in there years ago when our Tony was the chef & the rest of the guys were getting the usual rubbish & I was getting what the chefs were eating ( full roasts & such like ) and they were not too happy. Grim building though.

Brilliant venue for something like that.
