Man, I still cannot believe that this is our best midfield.

You can make all kinds of arguments for our need to make striker/goalkeeper/centre back/fullback our top priority in the summer, but then you look at our best XI midfield of Can, Henderson and Milner and you realise why Klopp has prioritised midfield in recruitment so far.  It's not as if any of them are absolutely rubbish, it looks fine if you replace one of them with a genuine top player, but as a first choice midfield for a team that wants to win the league in the next few years it's pretty far off the standard required.

But anyway, I'm glad to see Klopp keeping in the players that did so well against City.  I may think that Coutinho is a much better player than Lallana or Sturridge is much better than Origi, but I like that he's said "if you play well, you will keep your spot, so play well."

In fact, if it weren't for Lallana giving the press an interview about how we're "out for revenge," thus basically guaranteeing we lose, I'd be pretty confident about this game.

As usual, they've managed to put together pretty much their best team just in time for us. Would take any sort of win there today, but can't say I feel too confident. Still think the Wednesday performance was more down to City's lack of freshness than us being particularly brilliant. We were pretty dire until the Lallana goal.

Moreno against Bolasie will be interesting, as will Flanagan vs Zaha. Understand the decision to rest Clyne, as he's been playing every game for us.

I actually would have gone for Moreno/Clyne here, as I think Flanno will struggle with the pace of either Winger. Moreno ' got his flaws, but he's no slouch!

Hoping for an early goal to settle our nerves!
