Thanks, was using that earlier but RT was down and the bambuser streams aren't working for me. Good to see RT is back now though.

Looks like it kind of fizzled out anyway. Very early on it was full on chaos with hundreds pushing back police lines, setting off fireworks, etc. It kind of reached a peak there it seems.

Fuck knows what happened to them gathering outside parliament, like they did the last couple of years. Maybe the cops prevented that from happening properly tonight.

This probably sums a fair bit of it up, the first video is what it was like right near the start : http://mashable.com/2015/11/05/million-mask-march-london-protest/#6MkfZEqgbkqh

The police couldn't hold that line and got pushed back a few times (riot cops and cops on horses further back there seemed to halt it eventually.) A few clowns torching a cop car too later on with journos gathered taking pics, wouldn't be surprised at all if that was staged.

on bbc news

The BBC are an absolute fucking joke as usual. MoD backed propaganda garbage.

One article here : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34741434

We have the car burning in the first image, one mention of "anti-capitalist rally", one mention of "anti-inequality slogans", nothing else about why people have gathered there for several years to protest. Next image : the car burning again! Huge fucking surprise. The MoD probably couldn't have set that piece of shit up better themselves. Saying that though maybe they did actually write most of that, and possibly arranged for the car being torched too.

It's just so obvious that you get a few people smashing a cop car up, then it's the main focus of a british bullshit corporation article. What can you expect though, they're not independent, they're manipulated by government agencies, so they're never really going to be of much use to any of us anyway with a lot of their so-called reporting.

Most of us here could've put together a better piece than than shite, which just proves how much of an utter joke they are because they're supposed to be paid to do that, and with experience and so on. Experience at writing propaganda and being in the pockets of the elites, that's about as far as they seem to get.

The irony of this anti-capitalist Million Mask March is that some people will have made an absolute fortune from producing and selling those masks.

Yeah. Two things to change would be for people to wear their own masks, just completely mix it up. Also have a few focused messages about why the protesting is taking place, and try to raise awareness more. If they carry on doing this each year I don't really see how it's helping much. I do admire the effort they've put into it for several years though. With a lot of their other activism (Anonymous as a movement) though they've raised awareness well over the years in several areas, and also helped quite a lot of people, so for some to just focus on these Nov 5th protests would also be missing the point.
