PESTO! Fuck yes going to get me some of that

A word of warning it goes far.

I put a heaped teaspoon of pesto in my mix and its a very very strong taste.

Would probably try half the amount next time

Going for Chilli ones next

How hard is OMAD to actually do though? I IF now where I don’t eat for 16 hours and eat a breakfast/dinner at about 11 then eat my tea about 7 ish, I can do that pretty comfortably but I think I’d be shaky and have zero energy at all in work, I have a very manual job so I’m not sure if it’s even possible to do? Does anyone know?

Like you I’m a no breakast eater. However- I DO have a cup of coffee with cream + I take another to work with me. Probably a total 150 mls of cream over the 2 cups.

That sustains me until lunch at roughly 12:30pm. The previous evening meal is over by 7:30pm normally, so thats about 16-17 hrs a day w/o food, except the cream in the coffee (not sure how many calories)

I can do that pretty comfortably - the habit is established, but need the midday meal; couldn’t personally do OMAD at this stage.

Peterson is a bullshitter. I doubt he's being honest there.

Neg me because you don’t believe something someone else has said? Weird.

JR has had another bloke on who has a pure carnivore diet. He’d had the blood work and was very healthy, can’t pretend to understand the science but all the various indicators were good. His farts must fucking reek.

I quite like Jordan Peterson. I don’t much agree with him on a lot of things, especially when they got political, but he clearly is intelligent and thinks things through.

Peterson is absolutely fascinating. I agree with him on some things, and not others, although the mainstream media loves to misrepresent his actual position 95% of the time. But he's obviously very intelligent and spends a lot of time and effort in forming his argument, none of which seems to be based on hate or ignorance. Refreshing from a right winger. He also keeps his cool impossibility well when ignorant journalists throw pathetically constructed strawmen back at him repeatedly ad nauseum.

He's really opened my eyes in respect to how I view the left and right. I'm a leftie, but I had my assumptions made about him before ever really sitting down and listening to what he had to say. Until I heard him on Joe Rogan. Then I've listened to about 4 or 5 hours of interviews and lectures since.

Could say this about most people, it really does my head in when people throw labels around like lefties, right wing, alt right blah blah blah, then use that to discredit literally everything else they say.

I agree with a lot of stuff JPB says, disagree with others, I agree with some stuff Donald Trump says, disagree with a lot of what Corbyn says.

Why can't people just accept things like that? If I said a agreed with a couple of trumps policies there'd be people out there who would call me a racist right-wing nutjob. It doesn't make sense to me.

Above everything Peterson is a decent guy, and I'm not going to ignore that because I disagree with a couple of his political views. There's a couple of clips of him talking about issues and he get visably emotional when talking about it.

1:21:00 on this video

And

There's multiple other videos in a similar vein. This man cares about people's and especially young men's issues, and he talks sense from a place of decades of experience, I'm not going to ignore that because he thinks socialism is a bad thing.

That’s the way I feel, id feel like I needed to eat midday. Maybe psychological but I reckon I’d have the shakes and zero energy from 1/2pm onwards until I eat again.

Does Peterson actually say anything? He just repeats Jung and throws in a bit of the Bible and ill thought out conservative memes. Even when someone like Sam Harris (who is probably the least offensive of these clowns) challenges him, he has no answer except to ramble on.

I'm on a crazy diet at the moment.

Given up all processed meat - just chicken and fish.

Given up most fruits and now only eating strawberries, plums and water melons (obviously not a whole one in one go).

Eating shitoads of vegs including ones I don't normally have like celery for example at least 5 of the 7 days a week.

Only drinking water, no sugar cranberrry juice, gin neat or with ice or and tonic.

My treats 85% cocoa chocolate or low carb ice cream like Halo Top, which is very delicious.

Can have the occasional cheat day a week where I can have a pizza, chips etc, which doesn't make any difference in terms of weight gain.

If someone wants me to post my entire diet, I will do.

The kg's have been dropping off fast. Losing a kilo a week currently.

Got told about the GM diet which is pretty mental:

https://www.stylecraze.com/articles/the-gm-diet-is-it-for-you/

I’ve done the GM diet a few times to kick start the weight loss process. Usually lost 10-12 pounds in week 1.

He’s a fucking grifter. Repackaged classic Christian conservative nut job. Can’t believe so many people fall for it.

Peterson proposes that scientific truth is “nested within a [Darwinian] moral framework”, which implies that there may exist facts which are true, but are “not true enough” since they’ve proven adversarial to survival.

Ie. Christian conservatism, Social Darwinism, take personal responsibility even for things that aren't your fault, the rich are perfect etc.
