Massively disappointed by this. Patchy as fuck, plenty of dubious acting, a good story ruined by some poor writing.

 

Considine is very good but it takes more to save this misjudged middle of the road attrition.

Lioness - 7/10. S1. Similar vein to Jack Ryan but a bit more slow burn. Fights are fairly brutal though. CIA ops group who embed female US soldiers by befriending female members of terrorist’s families in order to assassinate their targets.

I hadn’t really grasped the scale of it, but at the weekend one of those investigator type YouTubers popped up on my feed. He went round parts of Philly and Portland. Absolutely mental.

Also, wanted to watched latest season of Black Mirror next and then I remembered I have already seen it like 3 months ago, it was that good. It's time to pull the plug on that one, if they have not already decided to do it.

 

Oh, and Clarkson's Farm S2 was also quite enjoyable.

I was following a journo on twitter for the past couple of years who’s been trying to expose the government influence behind it and the levels of how bad it’s got in San Francisco.
 

Apparently, the addicts are being paid $800 per month by the city and it’s attracting more and more addicts in from the surrounding cities who are filling their boots (veins) with it. The place is turning into a right cess pit now and it’s getting worse. 
 

New York’s getting hit with it too. The lad who played Omar in the Wire died of it the other year after buying a contaminated bag.

Thought I'd watch EP1 on the telly, good start. The program makers must fucking hate these adverts more than we do I would imagine. Building up tension, funeral approaching then some fat bird going on about RBS. Completely ruins the vibe the makers are trying to build.
