  1. Past hour
  2. Everton voted for multi club owners to be able to loan players between their teams. Everton football club has basically forced owners who want to compete to go down the multi club route.
  3. While not close to the suffering and heartbreak a lot of you have expressed so beautifully here, I was diagnosed with cancer in November 2018. I had 12 hour surgery the day we beat Napoli 1-0 and it was the first thing I checked when I came around at 4.30 in the morning. We beat the Mancs 3-1 (Shaq double) a few days later while I was recuperating in hospital. My brother watched it with me, a memory I'll never forget, me absolutely fucked and unable to speak with a trachea while we conversed with a whiteboard but mostly with nods and smiles. With Chemo/radiotherapy in early 2019 it was tough physically and mentally but watching the "mentality monsters" go unbeaten (bar the 11mm goalie clearance v City) in the league and the roller coaster of the Champions League run made the struggle so much easier. You made a sick man very happy Jurgen, from the bottom of my heart, danke.
  4. More like new Russian EW capabilities. Which is where you would expect Ukraine to profit the most from being backed by the biggest and most technologically advanced military in the world.
  5. Brexit bellends stick together.
  6. https://www.fuelsindustryuk.org/consumer-information/mobile-phones-on-filling-station-forecourts/ What is the risk? On occasion unsubstantiated reports emerge of mobile phones causing fires on petrol filling stations and other locations where flammable vapours are present. In fact, when research has been done into whether this has occurred (see the work of the Energy Institute), no evidence linking fires to mobile phone ignition has been found. Regardless, use of mobile phones on Fuels Industry UK members’ forecourts is actively discouraged for the reasons stated below
  7. Obviously I'm gutted he's going, but it's not the end of my world. I've been growing distant from football for many years (not living in Liverpool anymore doesn't help). I haven't watched any of the press conferences, haven't pored over compilations of goals or any documentaries and I'm fine with that. The rending of garments in parts of the Internet is a bit ridiculous. The man needs a break, he doesn't owe us anything and he gave us everything. Get the statue up and name a stand after him.
  8. Saw someone on twitter say if you read the small print,it means cafes can just ignore loads of h snd s regs
  9. No. If I were, I'd do that in the MF as is right. I'm saying the rule is bollocks. If using mobiles at a petrol station was actually a legitimate hazard there would be petrol stations blowing up all over the world. It's bollocks.
  10. I dont bother with heavyweight boxing so much these days it's all a bit of a circus, but given Furys past statements about our city and its inhabitants I hope Usyk beats him like a gong.
  11. we are inherently sexist towards men.
  12. Yep..because all those dead children are totally responsible
  13. Fair comment, made me feel old though, I'm only 48 (well 49 next month).
  14. As long as he pretends it never happened I won’t piss myself in rage
  15. The Notorious RG has been ducking the serving of his subpoena for awhile - posted on Twitter the festivities of his 80th birthday party - an hour later there was a knock on the door. Rudy Giuliani’s 80th birthday bash in Palm Beach was stormed “like it was Normandy” as the former New York City mayor was served with notice of his Arizona indictment, sources told The Post. In front of nearly 75 guests, two officials with Arizona’s attorney general’s office arrived at the shindig around 11 p.m. to hand Giuliani the papers in the case alleging he and 17 others were involved in a plot to overturn the 2020 election, the sources said. Some partygoers started screaming and one woman even cried as Giuliani was served.
  16. We're not the only club in the world, he has a fanbase and club to say goodbye to as well as Jurgen. The Rodgers comparisons are just lazy.
  17. Yeah that makes more sense. I found it hard to believe he came in that heavy
  18. 2 vs 1 and the young girl wins because the young girl has the truth and the other two have the lies. https://x.com/shaykhsulaiman/status/1791726638834585765?s=46&t=rTM5huSAdkyumn9JrNS_MQ
  19. Tyson Fury is such a great name for a fighter that I was surprised to learn it was his real name. So, destiny and all that. Usyk can only try to attach to Fury like ivy with its tendrils.
  20. Musked again: The Ukrainian military's Starlink terminals went down on the first day of the Russian offensive in Kharkiv Oblast on 10 May. They were jammed by Russian electronic warfare systems. The Washington Post reported that the 125th Territorial Defence Brigade was defending an approximately 40-kilometre stretch of the border between Russia and Kharkiv Oblast. It used reconnaissance drones on a daily basis to monitor how Russia was building up its forces for a possible attack. But on the morning of 10 May, the brigade lost all of its video feeds due to Russian electronic jamming. Starlink satellite internet terminals, which provide basic communications for the Ukrainian military, also failed. This situation first occurred during the Russian invasion in February 2022.
  21. If people are pissed that he's said he's joining they're going to be apoplectic when they realise he's probably been receiving briefings on all aspects of the team and club and more than likely discussing changes with the likes of Edwards and Hughes while Klopp is still managing them.
