This season I would, United and City are much better sides. If they had of been like this last season they would have had a decent shout because everyone was awful last year.

I think spurs are a better side than last year. Anyway time will tell, I keep hoping we see the collapse but they keep winning and their next 6 games I expect them to take a lot of points. Feb/March will tell us everything about them I think.

Spurs need to do better against the big teams. However, they are as good as anyone at putting the shit sides to the sword, and that was enough for United last year to win the league.

They've got a lot in common. Width and pace, if you've got those - you'll slaughter 90% of Premiership sides, no blackboards or heat sensors required.

VDV more or less play as a second striker, no ?

As long as they have Modric and King fit they will beat most teams in the league.

And they do have a great midfield, Parker and Modric are probably the best paring in the league.

If they can keep Modric until the summer i think they will finnish top for, cannot see them winning the league though. It will be between Utd and City i think.

I can see Chelsea moving for Modric again, and maybe Utd too, they are clearly abit shit in central midfield and he'd walk into their teams and really improve them.

Looking like the top 3 is pretty much wrapped up and it's us, Chelsea and Arsenal competing for 4th. At least both those sides unexpectedly dropped points at home as well this week although in many ways it just makes yesterday's result more frustrating. Spurs could finish above United if they had more belief in the big games. I still think it's mentality rather than ability that's keeping United above the other teams near the top. At home to Chelsea last week Spurs seemed to adopt the attitude near the end that a win would be nice but a draw against another top 4 contender wouldn't be too bad whereas United would have been going all out to win it in the last 20 minutes.

Would Modric want to go to Chelsea now though? Spurs look in much better shape at the moment.

Dont know, but unless Spurs change their wage structure, it'll be difficult for them to compete for CL places in the long run. Think they will be very reluctant to sell though, but if a good enough bid comes in, who knows. I'd say both Chelsea and Man Utd need that type of player in CM.

I think it will be a three way slugfest for the title, it should be entertaining. I'd rather Spurs won it than City if I'm honest

I don't think Spurs have got what it takes at the business end of the season. They're looking good for third, though. The title will imo be a straight manc shootout.
