Got this email today....

Hi Guys,

My name's David Oudôt and I'm a writer for the Arsenal FC Fanzine, 'The

Gooner'.

I'm just writing to let you know that although its now been 15 years, no-one

in football has forgotten the Hillsborough Disaster and that on this day,

our thoughts our very much with everyone involved with Liverpool FC.

1988/89 was the first year my dad started taking me to football and to this

day I remember that Saturday and the sense of numbness that followed.

Again, we are thinking of you all - Walk On.

Kindest regards,

David Oudôt

Dave, Thank him for that (I'm sure you already have).

I wasn't there on that day. If I had have been, I could have had the same fate.

RIP. YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE

Have already thanked him, and told him I put his email on the forum for more people to see.

I wasn't there either, me and my dad only qualified for one ticket between us. He wouldn't go without me, and wouldn't let me go on my own, not that I wanted to go on my own anyway like, I was only 15.

Anyway, we didn't bother getting the one ticket, and then later we had the chance of another, which would have meant we both could have gone. I was gutted, but when I look back now I'm so thankful that we didn't get tickets.

I'm sure there are loads of others on here with similar tales, but it's not something I like to think about. But today we should think about it, out of respect for the 96.

As I mentioned on another thread, I desperately hope Paul Harrison is involved on saturday, and even if Luzi is fit I still think he should be on the bench. It would be a marvellous gesture from Houllier in my opinion.

The sad thing is the lack of knowledge about it all. Nice touch from the Arsenal boy, but here in manchester none of the lads i have spoken to know much about it. One lad was gutted when i explained it to him...he had already bought a copy of the s*n.

Why don't these people understand that it was only coincidence that it was the people of mersyside who had to suffer the lies, if it were Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds etc I have no doubt the headlines would have been the same.

It's today we have to remember the families, and thier quest for justice and acknowledgement of what happened that day.

R.I.P. the 96.

JUSTICE!
