Gutted about him really, I thought he was impressive in the World Cup as well.

But as Zigackly says, he was a cheap version of a quality type of player, and we ultimately paid the price for spending our Summer's in the bargain bucket.

 

I'm still sure he can do a great job for another team.

I think you have to look beyond that and see where he's been plying his trade up until that point. We've seen plenty of players string three decent games together at international level and disastrously signed as a result.

Cole and Poulsen can join him as well as N'Gog, Soto, Aurelio, Konchesky, Brad Jones, Maxi and Agger.

I agree, whenever I've seen him for Serbia he has looked quality, possibly just not suited to the league or our tactics, most likely solution is he was destroyed by that evil twat Hodgson
