I like what I've seen of Taylor so far and he would certainly fit the Carragher mould of centre half.

I am a fan of Taylor and the way Fat Sam has used him it would say to me that Taylor has made his mind up he wants out

I think Taylor Sammi Agger and Carra would be a good 4 allowing Hobbs to take the place of Sami in a year to 18 months time (after a spell out on loan) well that is how i would see it anyway but im sure Rafa has his own plan

I have read the same, and think he'd be a superb Bosman signing. Playing a a decent defence could be the making of him.

I think he's a great prospect. Whenever I look at Newcastle, I always feel sorry for Givens and Taylor playing with that Fawlty Towers like defence.

 

Can see Givens going to Arsenal or United soon as he's wasting his talents up there, but as far as I know Taylor is a Geordie, so it might be difficult to prise his away.
