The bowlers have done better than I expected but the batters have done worse. I mentioned ages ago I was surprised at us not taking a 'horses for courses ' approach and leaving our best opener at playing spin  Jennings , at home.

Embarrassing  lack of skill playing spinners in their own element , but I suppose other than series every 4 years in India and possibly Pakistan it is not something that will lose you a series on its own.

He’s shite him. Never seen someone play number 3 or 4 and get out bowled so often. Gets out early a lot, too.
