I reckoned on England using this tour looking to try and find a reliable opening pair with the ashes coming up. Credit the windies for not allowing that.

We probably have the poorest opening pair in cricket as it stands. Fuck it give it it to Roy and Hales. Limited but at least attacking. Root,Mo,Jimmy and Broad only proven genuine test cricketers in that team. Maybe Stokes too I suppose.

Starc, Hazlewood & Cummins will be pissing themselves

Cummins most suited to English conditions for me. He could be destructive for sure. Wonder what price you’d get for him as top wicket taker. Can’t see it being that great.

Two extra days off to get some practice done in the nets. Once again, clever thinking from our lads.

Are hammocks still made of nets? Do people still sleep in them? Are England’s players losing on purpose to sleep in hammocks?I don’t fucking know. Someone explain please. Either way the cunts are chilling in the Caribbean tomorrow...... on pay. Fucking disgrace.

I don’t even know where to start.

I think there will be massive over-analysis of this series defeat when the simple fact of the matter is that the team is not good enough when it comes to batting. Most of the specialist batsmen average in the 30’s and there’s no-one better waiting in the wings so they’re basically fucked.

You can count the number of great batsmen in the world on two hands these days though mate. One day, and particularly T20 has fucked test cricket for good in my opinion.

I agree with that. Other teams are scoring more runs than England though and I don’t recall other teams collapsing so frequently?

Most teams are shite away from home as well.

Agreed. The difference was in application, nothing else. This isn't a Windies batting line up with great test batsman they just batted in the knowledge it was a fucking test match whilst we didn't. Some of the dismissals would be embarrassing for a club cricketer.

I’m beginning to think that the Windies test side might have accidentally stumbled onto a bit of an advantage in that a load of their best players were shipped out and just play 20/20.

The ones who are left aren’t as good, so the team is a bit shit, but they also don’t dick about with too much hit and giggle shit.

India seem to be about the only team who still manage to develop some decent specialists, but that’s probably because they’ve got a billion players to choose from.
