My wife is heavily pregnant. Her expected date is the 9th May. She went two day over with our last one. We play Newcastle on the 11th. I should have just had a wank on that balmy night last august. I probably won't even be able to touch a drop around that time. Man points earned however because there's a chance she'll be going in for a c-section (baby currently lying wrong way) and I've already been in touch with the hospital to confirm they don't do these kind of operations on a Sunday (match day). If, heaven forbid, we lose the league on the last day and my daughter is born, I'll be happy on the outside, but devastated on the inside if we don't get No.19.

My other half is due the end of May but has been having "weird" pains and thinks she'll go early. I've already told her to have her mother around cos should we win it,I'll be found on a fishing trawler somewhere in the north Atlantic.

Reckon it is better to be near the ground or in the city centre for newcastle game?

Been wondering this, I'm thinking of watching it near the ground and making my way into town an hour after we ,er, finish playing. Do any other readers not have tickets?
