Suarez & Carroll: Press Conf

Spot on again from Kenny in respect of the media. I thought Carroll was a bit aprehensive but he took his time and his answers were good. This injury of his and the fact it's not been properly diagnosed as yet is a bit of a concern. I thought he saw a specialist in Norway for it and he had a schedule for coming back?

 

He was in Sweden, in my hometown Umeå. I wrote about that in a previous Carroll related thread. The reason he came here is that there's a small clinic that has specialized in professional sportsmens injuries.

 

After reading about that I took contact with a person in town who's been doing a lot of work for the medical center, just to get an opinion about Carroll and the injury. This person told me that although he had not been involved in the manner himself he'd heard the buzz.

 

Apparently it was just precaution from Newcastle. They wanted him to make sure Carroll wont suffer any stress injuries while coming back from his injury. Therefore they made special rubber inlays for his shoes, made a training schedule and took some tests. The injury itself isn't a major concern -atleast that's what I'm told.
